Will 205/65 r10 tires fit on my stock suspension CC DS?
I'm ready to put 10" wheels with low profile road tread tires on my '03 club car ds 48v. I'd like to use 205/65 tires to get a slightly smoother ride than the 205/50 tires but Im concerned they may rub on my stock suspension, non-lifted ds. Does anyone have experience using the 205/65 tires on a stock ds?

I have the 205/50 tires and they have plenty of Clearence.. I think they would be close to stock. Mine are only 17 1/2 in tall on the ground

I think you will need a 2 inch lift. I have that tire on a 02 DS with the 2 inch and I like it. the tires have the metric size and 20.5x8x10 on the side wall. If I am correct the 205-50 is stock replacement.

The /65 profiles would be 2.4 inches taller than your /50s.. it's pushing 20 inches...is there that much clearance on a DS?

I have HD rear springs, plenty of room. I just thought stock was 18.5 mine are 17.5 so I was guessing these would be more the size of stock.:?

Is a 2" taller tire only 1" closer to the cart?

205/65/10 tire
The 205 is the width in mm the 65 stands for the sidewall size. 65% of the width of the tire. The 10 is the rim Plus 2x tread depth Some quick math will give you a rough tire over all size Sent from my N860 using Tapatalk 2 |

I just used a tape measure to check mine from floor to top of tire is 17.5 inches. 205-50 tires

anything over 20.5 you will need a lift,so you should be good
