3pg file fit rings

Has anyone file fit .25mm rings in a standard bore 3pg?

Welcome to BGW !!!! I would file fit any ring if the end gap is to tight in the bore. I've had to do it with a new top end kit. It's always wise to check the end gap when assembling a new or rebuilding an engine. DON'T trust the box.:thumbup:

I am an automotive machinist. I have used oversized rings on many builds. I'm thinking i can hone cyl. & file to fit an oversized ring. Just wondering if anyone ever did this.
