Do you know how old your batteries are? And ....Do you have a voltmeter?

A new set of batteries won't reach full capacity until 15-20 discharge/charge cycles.. Also check all the battery cable connections.. Any loose or corroded cable ends will increase resistance and slow the cart down.. It's good practice to replace the cables whenever a set of batteries are replaced..

Yep Dynamic breaking system will do it,
it's designed that way. (Keep your kids from killing themselves)

thanks for the reply how does the brake affect the cart up hill?

Re: slow club car

the dynamic breaking is for downhill and is the regen system to help put some charge back into the batteries, but it won't affect the uphill at all.

the slow uphill is just the way the carts are without some modifications. check the batteries and if they are fine then it is all in the cart's system. i upgraded my speed controller which gave more torque and helped the cart pull stronger uphill.

do you know if you have a series (DS) or regen (IQ) cart? you can upgrade both, but depending on what cart will determine how to and how much $$$.

Hope this helps.
