G16 primary clutch removal
I was wondering what I could use to hold the primary clutch from turning while removing the 7/8 bolt? I tried sticking a long screwdriver between the "spindles" on the primary sliding sheave and the frame. It did hold it from moving, but I thought I might break the sliding sheave. Any ideas from others that have done this.

Re: G16 primary clutch removal
Better plan is to use a impact and the primary clutch puller.

Re: G16 primary clutch removal
Thanks again Lurch, I got the bolt out.\
I am now waiting for the primary clutch puller to arrive (from Plowman's), Smallblock, IF I can be patient. |
