EZGO EH29C freezes when hot
 

Changed a connecting rod and now when I attempt to ride it once it heats up the motor freezes, if I apply oil to rings from spark plug hole and free the motor by hand it will run for a bit till it heats up again, I see no oil circulating thru the top heads where the valves are, any info someone can share that I may have over looked?

I'd guess it's not pumping oil for some reason, this system isn't a slash type oiler. Maybe the oil supply is blocked somehow around the oil filter, maybe the pump gear has sheared a key. hard to say without taking it apart.
What was the problem that caused the rod failure?

just found that the cam is freezing up, no oil pumping to the heads, going to try to prime the cam bearing journal, hope that works
