Re: 48 volt to 110 volt inverter

Go with a 48V to 12VDC Reducer/Converter,
then wire a 12VDC to 110VAC inverter... and, you should be good to go!!!:thumbup:

I hope you still have your cup holders...
because, you should also be holding a drink, while working on your laptop, and riding the cart!!!
:lol::lol::lol:

Re: 48 volt to 110 volt inverter

Wont be any driving and computing. Its for a RFID/GPS inventory tracking system. All the equipment will be mounted in the covered bed so that wont happen. Whole PC with a flatpanel, micro-printer, ect...ect

Lockman; I alread thought of that but that way is a very inefficiant way to do it. I have all those components and I'm not against doing it that way but why not do it right. I found a unit that looks like it will fit the bill...its a mil-spec inverter that can be run in series for even more wattage if needed. probly wont need it though.

I didn't get the mill-spec unit I found. Muaythia picked one up from one of his vendors. (didn't know I could of just asked him):lol:...anyways, Its an extremely nice unit if anyone is interested. 250 watts may not sound like alot....its not that much but its more power than units you get from Home depot that are advertised with more power. Like buying a cheap 20,000 watt amp from china...its "Dirty" power.....but a High Quality 30 watt amp will put out "clean" power and blow the doors off your car.

Here are the specs and pics of the Exeltech XP250 power inverter

- True Sine Wave
- Remote Switching
- 250 Watts
- Ultra lightweight
