Just finished rear lift kit in my Par Car!

I had some of those rubber spacers in the rear springs to clear the bigger tires that I traded for, but they were cut in half by the springs in short order. I used some scraps to put this together.

Welded 2.5" OD pipe to a 3" x 3" piece of c channel for the lift.

Fit right in there!

Made some shock extenders from 2" square tubing, welded in 1/4" plate with a threaded hole to mount to existing frame.

Drilled a hole in the frame for a bolt to draw the square tubing up tight to bottom of frame.

I got about 1.5" out of it, and it should last longer than the rubber spacers! Figured I'd share in case anyone was looking for ideas. Not many options for lifts for our carts.

That's cool. If you could figure out the front you'd be able to sell kits and make a few bucks.

Ever consider getting longer shocks rather than making extenders? Not sure if it's even possible. Just something to think about.

I agree, longer shocks would work out better, I'm just not sure how to go about finding them.

I just tore down the front end of my cart today. It looks like bolting a block between the spring and frame would be an easy lift. the limiting factor is the steering rack position, those tie rods are already at an extreme angle. I'm going to try a 1" lift block, hopefully it won't be too much and put them in a bind.

If anyone can take a look under their cart for me, I'd like to see if anyone else is missing the left rear bolt on the spring mount. Mine only had 3 bolts. Doesn't look like there's any room for the bolt head under the rack. I'm going to put one in there, but cut part of the head off to clear.

Jim,

Like your rear lift, I think i'll try to match your design. is the spring just held in by the weight of the cart? did you tack weld the spring to your spacer?

Thanks,
Rob

Did you ever figure anything out for the front?

Working on my version of a lift kit with scrap around the shop. Any height dimensions?

Any Solution for the front?

I dont have any solutions but I would love at least a 2" lift or so myself
