camber adjustment

1 Attachment(s)
which part of this front end adjusts the camber - I'm thinking???, from the posts that I have read, it must be the arm in back????, the arm up front (kinda brass colored) appears to adjust toe-in.

just by looking at it, it doesn't really look like that would be what I adjust.

thanks,

billy

Re: camber adjustment

It looks to me like the tow bracket is in the center of the black arm. In the middle of that bracket should be an eccentric bolt. Loosen the tow bracket and remove the eccentric bolt and pull the tires to the proper position. When you have it how you think it needs to be, tighten all bolts.

Some suggest to use a builders square but I did not have much luck. I think it is pretty much a trial and error issue until you get it adjusted correctly.

This is what I did on mine and there was improvement.

Good luck.

The "brass" colored rod is for setting your steering wheel straight with the wheels, this should be the last thing you set in the process of front end alignment. The rod directly behind the "brass" colored rod is for setting your toe in and out (which I woldn't recommend toe out unless you are racing).

Recently I picked up a 95 CC from a local dealer. He told me the camber is set off the leaf spring. There is some sort of bolt in the middle of the spring and spring mount that you adjust to set the camber. Some one who IS a CC expert on here could answer this better than I could. But that is what the dealer told me. Hope this helps.
