Textron charger problem

Hi , I have textron charger that doesn't put out a charge unless I bypass the circuit board by connecting the black and yellow wires together. I replaced the circuit board with a new one, but still the same. Also when I hook it up the right way it trips the breaker on my GFI in garage. Any help would be appreciated. I have a 1993 marathon that I have built from the ground up with lift kit, wheels and custom flames. This is the last thing to fix hope someone can help. This is my first time on this forum, looks like there is alot of good info here. Thanks Brucestang88

Re: Textron charger problem

Look at the stickies and there should be a diagram of a charger. Double check everything. Also, did you buy a circuit board from ebay or a dealer...the ebay ones...well...suck.

Re: Textron charger problem

Here's the thread I had when my charger wouldn't work. If the battery voltage is too low the charger won't come on. This might help.
