Battery Disconnect

I'm working on a fleet right now - I would like to have the option to have a master switch as well.

Is there any reason that I can't hook this in between the main positive terminal on the battery pack and the controller wire?

I do not see a reason you cannot do that. It's just a contact. Question, do they make a double pole batt. disconnect? Would be nice to break both the positive and neg. going to controller.

That will work fine. Installing it at the end of the pack is where you should put it. I would however buy the one that will carry the most amps without it getting too big.

Yes, you can. What is the reason for it, cart useage control or just cool factor?

I have one installed in the tractor. It was more of an anti-theif device. But it turned out to be a battery saver when I had a small short I couldn't find for awhile...It is on the positive side....
