2010 precedent cutting out!
 

2010 precedent randomly cuts out, Iv replaced fuel lines, pump,filter,cleaned the carb and the tank. Problem still exist, has me stumped because it’ll run fine for awhile “some time days” then all of a sudden fall on its face. Eventually it clears up and runs fine until the next time. Plenty of gas has been ran through it so it’s not a bad gas problem. Iv got a video of what it’s doing but can’t seem to get it to upload.. any help is appreciated, I’m to the point of hauling it to the shop but not looking forward to their bill!

More than likely it's a bad RPM limiter. Get a cheap spark tester from harbor freight or online somewhere and plug it into your spark plug and cap. The spark tester will illuminate when the spark plug is firing. If there is ever an instance where the light on the spark tester turns off while the accelerator is depressed and the engine is rotating, it's losing fire. This is either a bad RPM limiter or a bad ignition coil. 9 times out of 10 it's the limiter.
