New Yamaha G22e (2006) Owner with issues

Hey Everyone! New owner and new member here.

Have some quick questions...

First off:
2006 G22e (48v)
3" Rhoxx Lift
20" Mudders
Rhoxx Fender Flares
Rear Seat Kit

I wanted 12V in the cart and read a lot on here about different options.

I ended up installing 2 (20amp ea.) separate 36-48v to 12v reducers. One feeds a 12v outlet for charging an iPhone and a portable Bluetooth speaker i use as the stereo in the cart. The 2nd 20amp reducer is for LED headlights and LED ground effects.

I installed this after the keyswitch so everything would shut off with the key. It was all working great until the first issue came up.

Sometimes when the key was shut off and out of the switch the cart would still run. It wasn't always happening but sometimes it just would turn off unless i hit the RUN/TOW switch.

Now it won't run at all. Its fully charged up but nothing when the key is on. I disconnected the 12v system and its ground. After that it worked once then not again...

So.

I need a relay right?
I don't need two (20amp) voltage reducers?
Would one be enough?
is it better to just use a separate 12v marine battery to run the accessories?

I have ordered a new key switch is hopes thats needed. Could I have blown a fuse?

Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Removed all the extra stuff & still nothing? Did you check the voltage in & out of keyswitch before ordering something you might not even need?

I did disconnect all the extra stuff. I ordered the switch thinking because it started as an intermittent problem it wasn't a fuse or something... not sure if thats right though. I could use some extra keys anyway.

I have 48v+ at the back of the switch. Going to go pull the switch and check it now. Just received some parts and the keyswitch was b/o anyway so....boo.

I just tested the switch and it is working... now i am lost for sure.

And of course...now the cart started working again.
Weak ground?
Bad connection somewhere?
