Just picked up a CC Precedent for $200
5 Attachment(s)
Pretty sure this is a 2010 factory refurb.
Came without batteries or charger. Cables are rotted off also. I plan to pick up a set of T875 Trojans and a DPI Accusense charger to get started. OBC bypass will also be done at the same time. I will likely upgrade the motor and controller at some point, so I will make all new cables from 2G welding cable. What are some basic upgrades that I can do to this thing that will help reliability and drivability ? Speed sensor kit ? motor magnet ? It does take 6x8v batteries and it does have the tow/haul switch on it. Anyone know what drive system I have ? Last cart was a 95 DS, so this one is a bit alien to me. Thanks in advance ! PS. I'll update this thread as I make progress. I may put a lift kit and bigger tires under it too. |

I wish a service manual was readily available to download... but I'm not finding anything on the www.

Awesome deal. I just picked up a 2007 for $150. You did better than I did.

Just doing some research... I'm reasonably certain this cart is a Sepex / IQ system.
Now to research what I can do for simple performance hacks. |
Re: Just picked up a CC Precedent for $200
Currently struggling to find a good source for reasonably priced batteries.
I've called a bunch of places local to me (Cumming/home to Buford/work) and prices are all over the place. (from $600 to $1000+/set) Sams club has Duracells (Deka) for $99ea... but they are not my preferred choice. They are my last choice... and would still require a $45 membership to get this price. I'd rather use Crown or Trojan. Best price on Crown is $639/set on CR165's and $669/set for Trojan T875's... but the seller is 2+ hours away from me. I'd really rather buy the CR190's or T890's but I don't even see them available locally. Anyone have any suggestions that may be withing an hour of 30040 ? Thanks in advance ! |
