295 blowing gas out breather & fuel pump
1993 Marathon Robins 295
Daughters cart wouldn't start. Her boyfriend replaced fuel pump (after market) and said gas was blowing out breather. Brought it to my house to check out Valves .005 spark OK at plugs Plugs OK Compression 110 left and 130 right Fuel pump getting gas to carb Removed complete air cleaner to test I can get it to start & run but gas is blowing out breather & misting out screen on fuel pump. Only let it run for a few seconds until I figure out what is going on. Any Ideas? |

Re: 295 blowing gas out breather & fuel pump
You most likely can just pull the bowl, needle and seat and blow compressed air to clean it.
The smallest piece of sand is all it takes to hold the needle valve open. When you change the oil its a good idea to change the fuel filter also. |
