2007 Precedent vs DS

Hoping you guys can help me out. I'm about to purchase a CC Electric cart to lift for hunting. Will prob go 6-8" lift and 22x11-10 tires in rims. I'm probably headed to buy my cart this weekend. Guy has 2007 Precedents and some DS (not sure the year model). Which cart will be better for lifting etc? and what will I have to do/costs will I incurr to get the speed controller turned up?

Thanks so much.

I'm a fan of the DS, to me the look like they have more room,my 2 cents worth:mrgreen:also check the dates on the batteries ,(costly purchase)

Most of the Precedents have the 4 x 12v battery set up. They have been problimatic and CC is offering a kit to put 6 x 8v in their place at a high cost.

Just me, but I think the Precedent looks sharper, but if you can't find any with 6 x 8v, go with a 48v DS setup. Plus the aftermarket stuff for the DS seems more plentiful.

Re: 2007 Precedent vs DS

DS = Easy to work on Precedent = Not so much, everything is covered with panels, harder to get to components, I've worked on both and won't own a Precedent. Also, Pedal assembly is prone to corrosion, much more so than the DS.
