Broke bolt in clutch spine

Has anyone had this issue and how did you get it out if so? It was like this when I got it. This is on the driven clutch spline.

Looks like you are going to have to center punch it. Drill it out and use a bolt extractor. Maybe YouTube some videos on it.

As rusty as it is I would be soaking that for a couple days with penetrating oil before trying to extract it use either a easy out or if you get lucky and soak it long enough a reverse drill bit might do the trick

I can't tell because it is bit blurry, but is the end of the drive shaft mushroomed?

No it’s not mushroomed. I’m getting a reverse drill bit tomorrow and see if maybe that will do the trick.

I think it's the input shaft for the rear end, where the secondary clutch should go.

With as rusty as that is, soak it for a couple days with liquid wrench. Then use left handed drill bit and an easy out.

Chances are, it probably wont work but I'll hope for the best for you. You'll probably have to just drill it out and tap it. Don't break that easy out off trying too hard. If it doesnt grab and start pulling it out then stop. You'll really be hating life if you have to drill through a drill bit or an easy out....

This is the best advice you can get. Don't make it harder than it already is. If this were my project, I would skip ahead to drilling it out and re-tapping it.

I'm late to this party but it's All great advice above, especially the part about breaking an easyout or drill bit. IF that happens you're done......

I would remove it and tie it down vertical on the bench, then:

Soak it Soak it Soak it in PB blaster or equivalent.

Center punch and left handed drill bit as big as you can go without getting into the threads.

If need be after that;

1) Carefully easyout......

2) Apply heat to just the shaft (not the stud) and easyout again......

If still need be;

Get a Heli-Coil kit, drill it out completely and repair............ Good Luck
