Help with Slow Club Car
I have a 2003 Club Car with the IQ system. Everything on it is stock. A while back it started going very slow. After reading on here I thought it must be the speed sensor and when I did the test, no buzzing takes place indicating that it had gone bad. So I ordered a new one and installed it and nothing changed and it still failed the speed sensor test.
Did I get a bad one or is it maybe something else? |
Re: Help with Slow Club Car
If you bought a cheap made in China speed sensor then yes you could have bought a defective one....
Also as I believe that most problems start at the batteries how old are they, are they watered, are the terminals clean and snug? What is your voltage after charging and while in use? Contact David Hicks here http://www.revolutiongolfcars.com/ he will sell you genuine quality Club Car parts... |
Re: Help with Slow Club Car
Batteries are older but well maintained and seem to be in good shape. It was a cheaper sensor, that's probably what's wrong
