Help with Slow Club Car
 

I have a 2003 Club Car with the IQ system. Everything on it is stock. A while back it started going very slow. After reading on here I thought it must be the speed sensor and when I did the test, no buzzing takes place indicating that it had gone bad. So I ordered a new one and installed it and nothing changed and it still failed the speed sensor test.

Did I get a bad one or is it maybe something else?

If you bought a cheap made in China speed sensor then yes you could have bought a defective one....

Also as I believe that most problems start at the batteries how old are they, are they watered, are the terminals clean and snug? What is your voltage after charging and while in use?

Batteries are older but well maintained and seem to be in good shape. It was a cheaper sensor, that's probably what's wrong

You can do a search here and find info on the cheap sensors, they have different colored wires than the quality OE stuff as their give away clue...
