Still no torque, batteries full charge?

I charged the batteries overnight. (reading 39v for the pack) When I took it for a drive felt very little if any difference. I am only hearing 4 clicks from the solenoids. I think that may be the problem??? How do I test these? I took them all off of the mount to clean them up, replacing two (odd/different) ones, one looked burned (#2) Now that it's all back together... less torque:sad11:

I am sure this isn't the problem, but they are not directional are they? As in a top/bottom? Before the rebuild this thing would snap your neck!

Not sure if this image helps. Taken from passenger side. Also can anyone break down which each one does? Kinda confusing to someone used to working on engines!

NICE clear pic. There is a Master Solenoid, closest to the driver's side. It is working or you would not go at all
Next to it is 1st gear then next to it is the second speed, and so on, each solenoid is like another gear due to the resistor coil it routes the power through.

Each solenoid is controlled or fired by a micro switch. All of the micro switches are in a silver box under the driver's seat at the end of throttle linkage.

The solenoids are non directional switches. They simply require a positive and a negative charge at each of the small terminals to fire or switch.

If I remember correctly? The key switch provides positive to one side of all the small solenoid terminals and the micros send the needed negative impulse as they are tripped in the little silver box......

Just figured it out (thanks to you) only 4 clicks! The last solenoid was bad... No top end. Luckily I had a spare laying around from the rebuild. Torque is back baby! Thanks again for all your help. I will post some before and afters now that she is running right.

Good!
Now, before you get carried away and head out on a ten mile jaunt ......
remember the long post I gave you last night about battery break-in!!!!! It is very important that you follow the break in proceedure...... New batteries are only at 75% capacity and POWER..... they will only get to 100% if you treat them right.
Enjoy!
