Hey old timers on the board..

My friend bought one of them ezgo diamond plate industrial carts, the one that hangs over in the front and has a flat bed. I remember seeing one on here that was lifted but can't find it, anyone remember it or who had it? Thanks SB

(also posted this in ezgo section)

I don't have pictures, but I had a customer's cart in the shop: 1980 Cushman flat bed industrial cart. It had been a 36 volt electric, but the owner had pulled all that out and installed a 670cc Predator chain drive to a solid rear axle on a swinging "U" bracket with coil springs. Front suspension was off a Yamaha quad, including a chunk of the quad frame to swing the control arms. He got that far but wasn't sure how to give it steering, brakes, etc. I used the original Cushman steering box to swing a fabricated drag link to the left steering knuckle. The quad's tie rods connected to a common center pivot point so the right side got pulled along with the left. Old Cushman hydraulic master cylinder to Rhino brake calipers (2 in front, 1 on the solid rear axle).

The front axle is the challenge. We welded some longer leaf spring mounts on our project. It doesn't give more ground clearance but it allows for a bigger tire.

Well I guess it is an ezgo rib, I was wrong on it being all diamond plate, the sides are not. Anyone seen one of these lifted?
