Re: Rear axle fluid capacity?
Hello can any one answer how much fluid the diff in the above post takes and were do you fill it. I see how to drain it just not how to fill it. It have what looks like freeze plugs on it and a diff cover on the bottom but no fill. Can someone please take a picture or tell me were to fill it. I would like to put fresh oil in my new to me cart. Thanks for the help.

believe it or not that drain plug is the check/fill plug, you can read about it in the electric technicians service manual. same rear used in electric carts.
Ezgo doesn't have very good instruction about this, in one manual it says it takes 40oz for that rear, I thinks it's around 7 or 8 oz. These are dana rears so you may find better info about them on their site |
