2011 Club car will not run untill you toggle the tow swtich a couple of times

After my 2011 Club Car sits for a little for a few hours or days it will not run till you toggle the tow switch several times. Any ideas on what is wrong? I do not get any power till it is toggled. Once you toggle the tow switch and get power the battery light comes on for a few seconds.

oxidation in the switch, you need to use it more or change it.

A friend of mine had the same problem about two years ago. I switched it on/off about 50-75 times, he has not had a problem since.
