digital volt meter

Just a stupid question.(I'm good for that)

When looking at the spec information for a digital volt meter most of them say 12to120 volt. So the question is why would a person need to look at 2 different listings from the supply house? 1 for 36 volt and 1 for 48 volt.

For a digital meter it’s all the same. For a bar meter they are different.
