Is this going to be ok?

The battery dealer does not have Allied or Eco-batteries in stock. He wants to install a Roy-Pow S instead. I question this because I have a lifted cart, with 23-inch wheels and a Navitas 600 amp controller and AC motor conversion.
All the choices are 105Ah packages.
Allied has a peak discharge of 350a @ 10 sec., a peak of 600A @ 3sec
Eco-Battery has similar
Roy-Pow has a peak of 200a @ 10 sec

There are several people on here with Roypow batteries. Not sure what models.

If it were me I would try to find an Eco Battery. Have you tried XL Carts in Fernandina? I hear they are supposed to be a dealer now.

I have a roypow and it works great in my cart, specs in my signature... It's very torquey up to 30 and will hit 36+ on a long flat straight... with that being said, i likely would have gone eco battery for the better battery meter and 48-12dc converter.... But I was too impatient to wait for it :)

One of my golfing buddies has a RoyPow 105AH in his cart - had it for almost 2 years now. No issues but he's running a stock cart with stock size tires.

I have a Roypow 105 on a 500 amp hunting cart and have had no problems with it shutting down. I bought it several years ago before Eco was on the scene. I would probably go with Eco now.

Re: Is this going to be ok?

The dealer put the RoyPow in to use for the weekend. He says they went into service mode on the Navitas controller and set it for 200 amps to match the Roy Pow battery. Use 2 bars over 6 miles. Gets to top speed much quicker. My only complaints are that RoyPow uses a rectangle SOC meter and I have a round hole. And the meter is always on glowing red.
