Battery Question

I removed the batteries from my Club Car to clean the corrosion from the battery compartment and noticed that the battery cases were bulging from all four sides and on the bottom. Is this normal? They are 8 year old Trojan 105 amps.

Re: Battery Question

They are still going strong. I was thinking of trying the battery rejuvinator that gets poured into the cells, is there a good one I should try?

Re: Battery Question

DONT TOUCH THEM, if you got this much life out of them why ruin it now with one of the "SNAKE OILS SOLD TODAY"
Nothing can replace lead in batterys and thats what keeps you going. You have been doing a good job of maintaining batterys so far, so just keep it up.

Re: Battery Question

Those TROJANS are awesome! I have a set of 01 trojans that all show 6v+ each. I also have some scattered around (in carts) that still work also.
People always ask, what's the best batteries?? You know how to answer that!

Re: Battery Question

From my experience, they are great batteries. I just keep them clean, maintain the fluid and charge them regularly.
