Clicking in rear end
 

I have some clicking in the rear end when I am driving the cart. It goes away when going up hill very noticed when on flat ground. Could this mean that I have low oil in the rear end . Do I have a way to check this and how.

Does it sound like a chattering noise that seems to go away when you accelerate? Is it worse while coasting or when you're giving it partial throttle? You may have a worn guide ring in the motor or worn splines on the motor, depending on which style motor you have. What's the golf cart serial number? This will help us to identify the year so we can point you in the right direction. I doubt it's a low oil issue. There are two plugs on the differential, a fill plug and a drain plug. Remove the upper plug and a little bit of oil should drip out. It's supposed to be filled to the fill plug.

It is noticable when accelerating it is like a chattering noise it's kinda loud my son was driving it up in the parking lot at the club and I could hear it from a good ways away from me

It does it in slow or going fast forward and reverse

Like Tahoe said, sounds like a worn motor guide ring. It can be replaced but it requires the motor to be removed from the cart, and you need a "special tool" to line up the new guide ring properly.

Not sure on cost Dodge. Call around to a local Electric Motor Shop and they should be able to quote you an estimated price. It should be no more than ~$80 - $100 plus the part.
