Fuel tank

I have been in the need for a good plastic fuel tank and a very good forum member sent me one at no charge. I'm sure we all would do something when we can but we can't. I found these replacements around 3 years age and put it on the forum but it is hard to find so here is the info:
US Plastic has new tanks. The tank part number is:
Natural color 13898 and the black tank is number 13899 Don't forget the cap which is an un-vented number 13901 (The vented is unnecessary) The pickup tube is 14531 (comes with an elbow) The pickup tube grommet is number 14528. Please check the dimensions and numbers before you order. It is on their web site catalog. Now for you that need a new check valve (screened) just try Dennis Kirk for part number 1827 at $4.95. Please stickey this if possible!

For me, the link that you posted opens to Streaming Music And Books. Maybe a correction is needed.

I relined my old metal tank with an epoxy-like material from KBS Coatings, purchased through Amazon. They sell kits of different sizes, depending on the tank size. The kit contains a cleaner, rust removing etchant, and the coating material. It took me a few hours spread out over several days to do, but the inside of my original tank is now rust free, fully coated, and leak proof. It's been several years since I did this, and there are no signs at all of any deterioration of the lining. For pin holes, you just temporarily seal them from the outside with tape or clay until the lining material is installed and cured, then remove the tape or clay. The lining material seals the pin holes permanently.

I went with an aluminum fuel cell from Summit Racing. Not cheap, but done right.

If it's flat on top you can install an aftermarket one.
