CPP's "Performance Exhaust"

Yes... I now have videos of the CPP "Performance Exhaust"!
I've been waiting for the right time to get this exhaust, since CPP came out with it...
I'm very happy with it! And, it was a VERY easy install...
(I am NOT a video expert... I did my best!) :help:

BEFORE

AND... AFTER

It's not a v-twin... but I'm O.K. with that!!!
IMO...you just have to get one of these!!!

Thanks Tom!

Don, that sounds cool. You know I have the same motor so I have just 3 questions for you.....1. did the improved breathing give you any performance benefits?8) 2. How much did it cost? 3. How much do you want for your old exhaust?

Well... It actually sounds better in person, then in the video!!!
I think the "Tinny" sound was from... E.G.E.S. (Empty Garage Echo Syndrome)
I'm going to redo it, after I figure out how to use this camera!

Answers:

1) I only ran It once, I didn't have a GPS... But it seems to have added a little more!
Then pulled it back in the garage to do more stuff!
(3 position head light switch for running lights, a brake light switch, and get it to Idle!)

2) It's $249.00... But, call CPP and see what they can do for you!

3) I'm keeping my stock exhaust for now...
(until I get sick of getting it out of my way all of the time!!!)

Sorry... I won't say how much I was able to get it for...
Again... Call , and see what he can do for you!

(BTW... with your 4" Z lift... as mine is... you may need one "for a non-lifted" cart!)

Thanks Don. I will check him out, with 6" jakes in rear and 3" Z plus 3" jakes in front.....she's lifted.
With the bed off, I walked around the back and hit my knee on the tow hitch.

I still haven't had the chance to GPS it yet...(Hopefully this saturday)
and the FE350 in my Lynx already has tons of torque, it's hard for me to tell...

IMO: with the exhaust breathing clearer, the larger Jet, and the K & N air filter...
YES... it would have too! It sure sounds like it does! 8)

Don,
Don't you still have your governor intact? If so the kit will help your time to top speed, but your top speed will be the same because of the governor

Do you have zip tie completely tight? Does motor hit rev limiter?

No... on both counts

The limiter ground is disconnected and the Zip is a little more then half way...
The rpm's are @4600 in maintenance mode.

Re: CPP's "Performance Exhaust"

Oh yeah...

I GPS'd it this weekend...

29.8 MPH ... as compared to 28.6 BEFORE the installing the exhaust kit!

So, Yes there is an improvement... it may not seem like much... But, I like it!!!

Hi did it give you any better lower end with this kit? I have a fe 290 and trying to get better low end after putting bigger tires on. I did put a new spring it drive clutch.

Re: CPP's "Performance Exhaust"

Welcome to BGW Bachande!

I gotta dust the cobwebs off this one!

A little bit, but it's not a huge increase to make it very noticeable like a clutch spring does.
