No Power
I have a 85 Electric Club Car. It was sitting for about three years wit no use. I installed new batteries and cables and it worked great for about a week. Now it will not go. It just clicks when the gas is pshed in FWD or Reverse.
Any thoughts on what and how to check would be greatly appreciated. |
Re: No Power
i'm going to say start with checking all the connections on all the cables.... make sure they are clean and tight.... if that doesn't work then i would say change the solenoid.... anything beyond that.... someone else will have to help ya with

Re: No Power
any good way to determine which solenoid is bad?

Re: No Power
back when i had hydraulics in my truck we never replaced just one.... there was 3 in a row and we replaced all 3 if one of them went bad.... just a thought from my end....but we used ford solenoids and they where 6 bux at auto zone....

Re: No Power
at this point, replacing them all is the way to go..
more than likely the solenoid that is your culprit is the closet to the driver side of the car.. on a solenoid, when the two small post have 36v, the solenoid should click in and give the big post continuity... |
