Harley Davidson golf cart won’t go in reverse
 

Just got a Harley Davidson golf cart running end it goes forward just fine, but is it unable to go in reverse, when I set it to reverse nothing happens do I have the starter generator hooked up wrong?

Do you have any reason to think it could be wired wrong? If so then I would check that. What year? Floor mount switch or up between the seats? The floor ones at this age the base plate tends to crack so a contact may not be making contact. The original seat ones are easily damaged and replacements are often questionable quality.
