2007 DS, speed problem, should i buy?
 

Looking at first golf cart. Found a 2007 Club Car DS. Guy says new batteries, wiring harness and charger. Lifted. Says it creeps along really slowly and he thinks it has an electrical problem. What could be issue besides batteries and how much could it run? Hes asking 1800 OBO. It looks really clean. Wanting to use as a hunting cart, so could possibly be getting new controller and high torque motor anyway.

Did I post this in the wrong place? Fairly new to the forum and carts so sorry if I should have posted elsewhere. Just trying to figure out what to look for

You're in the right place, surprised nobody caught the thread. A 2007 cart could have an MCOR or speed sensor problem causing it to creep, or possibly bad cells in a battery or two. Others with more experience than me with the newer stuff should be along shortly with even more.

I second 93. I would think either a speed sensor or MCOR issue.
