EZGO 2008 Castle Nut Size Front Wheel Assembly

Just got a drop axle kit for my 08 EZGO, thought I would knock it out in one evening, not. Need to know what size socket to buy for front castle nut.....took wheels off, dust cap, and whoa!!! One inch socket worked on older txt electric ezgo's wheel assembly castle nuts, but this thing is huge. Also, this drop axle kit is a 5 inch lift, but rear blocks are maybe 2". Does the front help lift the whole cart otherwise the cart isn't going to be level? Any help, appreciated. Thanks, Adam.

That was informative, thanks! The guy just used a large set of pliers on the front castle nut, so no socket needed I guess.

also shows why your rear block is 2" .. it puts leaf springs on top of axles addin 3" so it should be level
