Request Controller Recommendation
 

See my previous post about my 2010 Columbia Par Car SMT4 controller/motor burning up.

Can someone recommend a controller / controller+ motor swap?

The original was a SEVCON 633T45319 and a Columbiana Motor (Shunt) with encoder on the end- 36/48V - 11.8/19.5 peak hp

If you need both motor and controller now would be a good time to upgrade to a Navitas 5K 600 amp setup if they make one for your cart. It will give you all the speed AND torque that you'll need and is fully adjustable from the dash or your phone. It's a reliable system with great phone support. From a Columbia person point of view, 100% agree with Lenny. Navitas offers much better support and flexibility with even better pricing.
