RXV is sketchy above 20mph
1 Attachment(s)
My lifted 2009 RXV is a little sketchy above 20mph. I have to hold the steering wheel tight as to not be thrown all over the road. It has a madjax 6” lift, 14” wheels and 23” tires. What can I add for more stability at higher speeds? Will adding wheel spacers help?

Re: RXV is sketchy above 20mph
Sounds like you got MadJacked. Try changing your alignment Toe setting. There are many threads how to adjust it. If its toed-in try zero, or slightly toed out.

Yeah. It was the lift that was on it when I purchased it. I will try messing with my toe settings. Thanks.

Re: RXV is sketchy above 20mph
I would think spacers would change the center of gravity and make the cart more stable. But I am just beginning with carts so wait for someone more knowledgeable to chime in. What is it doing when you are over 20? Like is it bouncing is it pulling to one side? When you turn the wheel at that speed does it feel like it wants to turn on its own?

Re: RXV is sketchy above 20mph
I bet it feels like an oscillation, like a trailer that's fish-tailing.
