Just finished my tiki cart!
5 Attachment(s)
Been working on this for about 3 months of evenings and weekends! I built the whole body from plywood and lauan panels, carved all the trim, skinned it with bac bac and reed blinds. I drive it to Dunedin about 2 miles away. It's fun to see everyone stop and take pics and sit in the bar!
I tried to attach pics, and you could also go to my Facebok link which also has a video: https://www.facebook.com/1514943853/...22841793662790 |

That's freakin' awesome right there! Did you make the tiki statue light mounts?

Re: Just finished my tiki cart!
What an awesome and totally fun cart.
All it needs is an inverter to power a Margaritaville frozen beverage blender. Please tell me those torches are LED and not flame  |
Re: Just finished my tiki cart!
Haha yes the torches were converted to 12v LED flicker bulbs. I did do all the carving. Most of the column work was just using a router on 1x8 boards. I bought a pack of like 100 12v LEDs from Amazon and just been hot gluing them around and wiring them right into 12v circuit. Hopefully this all holds up to road abuse and the occasional Florida pop-up rain.
