Largest tire size with 4" lift on CC precedent
 

I have a 4" A-arm lift and want to get larger tires. What is the largest tire (22" or 23" that you have seen work on a precedent with a 4" lift?

Is it a madjax 4" lift?

I was told 22" , but I can't find 23" on one installed yet, as I'm going with the same lift here shortly

The Onward uses a 23" tire, however I was told the Madjax 4" lift can only accept a 22" tire which really narrows the choice from using a 23" tire

I have the Rhox lift on my cart and it looks like 22” will fit just fine, just wanted to see what others have done successfully.

The Onward uses an OEM version of the All-Sports lift kit. It's totally different than the one you or I can buy from All-Sports. It's beefier and it extends the wheelbase further than the regular All-Sports lift. It's also wider. If you look at it closely, you'll see that it actually has tie rod extensions on it due to the increased width. That's how they're able to cram 23" tires under a 4" lift. I've used the factory lift kits on several cars and I love them, but they're pricy.

I ordered the Madjax 4" HD A-Arm lift kit, with Hope's of putting 23" tires on it.

I ordered 22" tires yesterday, but canceled the order, thinking I could squeeze 23" A/T tires under it

So what your saying is probably not on a 4" lift ?

22x11x12 per All-Sports recommendations on a 4" lift. I'm not a MadJax dealer so I don't have access to their stuff, but 4" is 4" and their kit is pretty much the exact same.

I found the lift your talking about, it's $675.00 , I just called them, and I guess its the same one on the onward?

What about 1" Spacers to get the front wheels wider like this lift kit?

$675?!?!?!? Ridiculous............


Spacers won't help you run a larger tire. The width is there for safety reasons. You're able to run a larger tire on the factory kit because it lengthens the wheelbase by pushing the front tires further forward. The width just adds stability. Spacers would definitely give you the width of this kit, but the tires would rub when you turn.

I'm going with at 22" radial street tire. It's the TIR-384 from Rhox. I'll update once they are on the cart and let you know if they fit! I just pray they ride smoother than my current low profile 205/30's which are garbage.
