Cvtech 06 clutch puller
 
Have a new cvtech 06 clutch and the key way got pushed out and not fully in the clutch, so I need any advice or link if they sell a clutch puller for this clutch

I hate when that happens Nitro, not the keyway problem, that bites also but the inquiry that gets ghosted when ya need it most.
Anywho, I'm not familiar with that clutch but did look on ebay and they are *** proud of them. Says Kaw and Polaris so maybe local shop might have one or if the motor is out?

The CVtech like the comet 780 is a 1" diameter straight shaft clutch. There is no puller I am aware of since they generally slide right off. If you jammed the key way some how the best first step is to hold the flywheel side of the engine and try and rotate the clutch to align the where the 2 slots are.

:iagree: 1" straight shafts just slide right off. Guessing you got the keyway wedged? Post some good close up pics of what's going on, see what we can suggest.

As far as waiting for help on the forum....I mean....it's an internet forum....it's old school..... Most of us don't check the site at all times of the day, but me personally, I try and check around once or twice a day but sometimes I do go days without posting. So have patience.:thumbup:

Oh sorry I did sound kinda pushy but kinda did it as a bump lol, I’ll try and get some pics tomorrow, I’ll also be making my own puller was picking up a Yamaha g2-9 today
