E.R.I.C charge issue
All I just wanted to make sure there are no other options before I purchase a new charger.
I have a 2014 Precedent, batteries are less that a year old. I have 47.2 volts at the charge port and 47.2 volts coming back to the charger where the cables terminate. I also have 120v coming to the charger so it has power. Any other options or advice? Thanks |
Re: E.R.I.C charge issue
Sounds to me like you've checked everything you can check.
If it doesn't work then it's toast. |

Re: E.R.I.C charge issue
So I borrowed a friends 48v charger and I still cant get this thing to charge. The battery pack is at 45.7 volts. The cart still drives and everything works as it should but wont charge.

Re: E.R.I.C charge issue
What kind of charger did you borrow?

Re: E.R.I.C charge issue
Her cart is an older 48volt cart so it does have an OBC where as mine does not. I'm assuming thats the issue now that you posted your question. Its a big square analog charger.

Re: E.R.I.C charge issue
Yeah that won’t work on your cart. Not without some persuasion.
You can make it work but it won’t shut off on it’s own so you’ll have to monitor the pack voltage and unplug the charger when it gets to about 60v. |
Re: E.R.I.C charge issue
Meh ....Ill just wait till I order a new charger. Thanks for your help.
