Handmade Knives

When Im not hunting or tinkering with my truck or my cart, I make knives. I usually sell them on facebook, or give them to relatives, but I figured that since there are so many people here that use a golf cart to hunt, I might try to sell a couple of my knives here.

Most all of my blades start out as old sawmill circular saw blades. I cut and shape them myself, heat treat, polish them. I price everything to include a custom leather sheath and shipping to your door. Here is what Ive got now.

#1 - Curly maple handle that is stabilized and dyed blue. Has brass pins. Blade is roughly 1/8" thick, 6" long with a 3" edge. $100

#2 - Handle is Zebrawood on the front, Bubinga spacer, and Mexican Bacote on the pommel, with brass pins and star mosaic in the center. Knife is 8.25" long with a 4" edge. $150

Very,Very nice work

Thanks. Because of my source of materials Im able to keep my costs down, which makes it easier to sell my knives at a lower price. I want to make a good product that the everyday outdoorsman can afford, and be proud to own. I haven't gotten competent enough to make em as nice as yours look yet, but Im working on it. Im also still building my workshop up, so my tools are still more basic.

You would laugh if you saw my tools and shop,.... drill press, right angle grinder, belt sander, fiber debur wheel, and rag wheel buffer, and two elboes.

I use everything from 154cm toolsteel to old lawn mower blades,..

I love to see other knifemakers,... again very good work there:thumbup:
