Upgrade question 48 Volt
I am making a hunting buggy out of a 1994 txt. Stripped it to bare frame, and starting the rebuild. I have the 48 volt batteries, heavy duty FNR switch, Heavy duty solenoid, 2 gauge welding wires, and a programable 500 amp controller.
My question is who is running the same setup with the stock motor? just wanting to hear some results good or bad. |

Re: Upgrade question 48 Volt
Program the throttle response down if you can. They tend to start up too hard for their own good 8) I like the progressive throttle pattern on a 3 or 5 setting..3 if others will drive it.

The series motors take the 48 volts very well. Actually the higher voltage draws less amperage ..... |
