AGM batteries. Can you charge with EZGO Textron charged
Hey i have found a set of 6v AGM batteries for a decent price. I am thinking of replacing my 6 Trojans. I have one battery that will fully charge to 6.45 v but when I take it for a spi it will drop down to 2.88 v so I think it is getting pretty week. So I am looking at replacing all 6 and thought if I can get these AGMs at a decent price it might be worth it. My question is does anyone know if my Textron II will do the trick and be able to charge these batteries ? Thanks for any info

Re: AGM batteries. Can you charge with EZGO Textron charged
Should not be any real problem at all. AGM charge voltage is slightly lower than FLA, but not enough to be concerned with. Exact voltage depends on manufacture but to use Trojan model T-105 for example charge voltage is 7.4 volts while the T-105 AGM is 7.2 to 7.4. So you have a little overlap at top voltage. So if you have a 48 volt battery 57.6 to 59.2 should work just fine. They can even be Float Charged at 54 volts.
