Par Car NEV Back-up alarm disconnect
I have a 2010 Columbia Par Car NEV. The back-up alarm is way too loud for my neighborhood and I'd like to locate and disconnect it unless it will affect diagnostics, etc. In that case I would like to muffle it. It's so loud it's hard to tell exactly where it is located. Seems to be over the LR wheel. Any help will be appreciated.

Stick a earplug in it or place tape over it. Sound is barely there and not an issue.

It's mounted to the passenger side of the controller plate, which is mounted in front of the rear axle. About the size of a carmex jar.

Roger that. Couple strips of duct tape took care of it. As you know it's s not just a buzzer but a really loud speaker as on a forklift,etc. Thanks
