Precedent roof slats
 
Has anyone ever cut or notched the ribs in the precedent factory roof? It looks like a 2 piece roof. The top is flat but the bottom is ribbed...

I need to attach something flat to the roof and the ribs are in the way.

i cut a big hole in my precedent top, to install an airtop.

Those ribs are hollow, i was checking it out, in case i ever needed to run wires inside the grooves.
