voltage meter install
Wanting put a volt meter into my Ezgo TXT 36V. Meter has two wires on the back. When I put the leads directly to the battery I get a 38.7V reading same as my multi meter. I have wired into unit with ground going to battery and the hot from the switched side of the switch but the meter does not read anything. When i put my multi meter on the two posts on the back of the switch I get a 38V reading. Wondering what little thing I am missing?

Re: voltage meter install
Obvious - but make sure your testing with key on.
Check continuity between + and key switch. Check continuity between - and - battery post. One of those is your issue. |
