new to the electric cart maintenance?
 

I just got and 09 Precedent. Batteries 1yr old. Battery compartment clean. It has the battery water system. The cart is very clean all over. Is there any maintenance I should be doing? Other than a front end creek that I will be looking into? Is there anything with the electric drive I should look into? We are already doing the Park and Plug with the batteries. Always plug it in at the end of the day. On a normal day it gets about and hour or more of use. Slow speed not much more than 1/4 throttle.

you will find mixed reviews as far as watering systems . As long as water levels are were they need to be and there is no corrosion forming on battery connections . those are the two biggest things to look out for with electric cart . I myself have no love for watering systems and check my water levels and connections every two weeks.

Every few months, I like to:
- Clean the battery area (baking soda and water) to avoid corrosion and maintain cleanliness. (Add distilled water when ever needed to 1/4"-1/2" above the plates)
- Grease the front end (tie rods are sealed)
- Air up the tires

Not knowing the previous maintenance, I would change the rear end lube and inspect my brakes as soon as I got the chance....
