Field map for admiral A4 motor

I just installed my A4 motor and I have the All Trax XCT48500 controller. Where do I find the proper map to install? I've been all over All Trax's website and can't find any maps.

Shoot me an email. I meant to send it in advance of the motor arrival

ScottyB,

The OP has a high torque motor and controller set up exactly like my cart. Are you in favor of the latest map for your clients that will yield a faster cart or staying with the previous high torque map? Just wanting some feedback from some people that have tried the newer map for pros & cons.

The 2 maps Alltrax developed for this motor are designed for torque and speed.
The Torque map is best with big tires. The speed map is designed for stock height tires. Using the S map with big tires may result in high amperage draw resulting tin over heating the motor.

Always use the latest version of may map
Some of the Admiral maps (like A4) are on V4.

I loaded the RHMOT-A4T-V4.

Is this the high torque map? Just want to be sure I loaded the correct one.

The A4T designation identifies the Torque map
The A4S designation identifies the Speed map

I challenge the wisdom of offering S maps for these various motors. Typically owners who want speed speed speed do not understand that these maps will cause the motor to not perform well in high torque situations. Owners say, I only hunt the hills of GA, KY, PA for one weekend a yr. If you do not change your map for that weekend that is the weekend you can ruin your motor. The same is true for the beach sand or any extended slow going operation. I hope this helps.

Awesome Thanks!

BTW: clocked 25 MPH with the A4 motor, XCT48500 controller and 2 ga wires on 23" tires on flat ground. Not too bad. Climbs the hills much quicker as well.

That sounds right... a nice combination of speed and torque, with the regen intact if desired
