2003 Club car died; battery seems ok
First, thanks to everyone on these boards who has given people help. I have installed some rear leaf springs due to the help I found on here. Here is some background on my current problem:
I have a 2003 club car DS / IQ. I bought it two months ago. After driving it around this memorial day weekend, it died. At first I thought it was the battery. It was driving a little slow. Occasionally, it would slow down considerably then pick back up to normal speed. It got a full charge each night. When it died, I turned the headlights on and they still worked, leading me to believe the battery isn't the problem - especially after getting a full charge the night before and not getting a whole lot of use that day. So does anyone have any ideas or could possibly point me in the right direction? Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

You need to measure your battery voltages. The lights working means nothing.

This will help identify the source of the problem. While you are poking around in the battery room, it wouldn't hurt to pop the caps and check your electrolyte levels. |
