Help with charging issue: 2003 DS IQ with OBC
 

I have a 2003 DS IQ with power drive charger and OBC and I'm in need of some help troubleshooting why my cart isn't charging. All of a sudden my charger isn't turning on when plugged into the cart. Battery voltage is fine and should turn on charger. First I reset the OBC. That didn't fix the issue so I jumped/bypassed the OBC and the charger still didn't turn on. I also jumped the relay in the charger and the charger immediately started charging when plugged in. I replaced the charger relay thinking this was the issue but the charger is still not working with the new relay. Could this be the OBC or a different issue with the charger. Any help is appreciated. My cart is at my lake house so I am trying to come up with a game plan to fix it/get parts before I go there Memorial Day weekend.

P.S. The cart drives fine without any issues.

When you plug the charger to the cart, do you hear the charger "click"?

Make sure you have power to the electric outlet, possibly a breaker or gfi plug has tripped?

Thanks for the help.

No click from the charger and the power to the outlet is fine. I've tried multiple outlets and verified there is power to the outlet. The charger kicks on if I bypass the charger relay.

My best SWAG is a broken wire in the charger cable. Wiggle the wire around and see if the charger starts or tries to start. It happens when people pull on the wire instead of the connector.

Just wanted to close out this thread for anyone who comes across it. The issue was a broken sensor wire in the charger receptacle. Swapped it out and good to go.
