Re: club car 36volt no go
You can jump the big posts of the first solenoid ( the one with no resistor on it) and see if cart runs.
That will then have checked, battery connection, F/R switch, Motor Very simple cart to figure out |
Re: club car 36volt no go
maybe stupid question but how do i jump? please debrief me

Re: club car 36volt no go
6 gauge cable, you can just hold it on the 2 big posts. Jack the rear of the cart off the ground

Re: club car 36volt no go
nothing happend when i jumped the solenoid. what next?

Re: club car 36volt no go
You do realize that you have to push the "go" pedal (cart jacked up) after you jump that solenoid to properly test...right? Your statement suggested you just jumped it expecting movement (but maybe I misinterpreted)

Re: club car 36volt no go
sorry for the last post. i made better contact with my jumper cable on the solenoid and the wheels did spin. both forward and reverse. what do i check next? or is a bad solenoid?

Re: club car 36volt no go
Yep - that main solenoid has failed - you'll need to buy a replacement (make sure the replacement is 36v). It would be nice if you purchase it from one of this site's sponsors.
