Paint or Wrap

Just starting to think about updating my 2002 Club Car DS. Body color is first on the list.

Paint or Wrap? I have seen both - and they both look great. Not sure on durability of either.

Thanks in advance and also any guidance on things I am sure I am not thinking of!

I think bolt would hold up just fine if the prep is done correctly. Both would be about the same price if done by a professional. Its a toss up for sure.

One day id like to change my white cart to silver and still not sure if im going to paint or wrap it.

OK Trig...come finish mine. 8):lhmo::lhmo:
I still need more primer sanding to get imperfections out and ready for paint...I'm tired of sanding. Too cold and takes a lot of propane to get the garage to temp to be able to paint.

I started off wrapping my Precedent but then ended up painting it. I know it sounds picky, but my cart was orange and I wanted satin black. As I was wrapping it, several things bothered me. 1) I had the "not a step" on the rear fenders and the wrap wasn't going to stick well to that, 2) when I lifted the seat, I would still see the original orange paint on the inside.

I ended up sanding off the "not a step" and the rest of the body. I then used SEM Color Coat plastic paint. This stuff isn't cheap but I would rather pay a extra to have a nice finish. Flexible Primer (probably easier to use the Self Etching Primer), 3 coats of Satin Black and then 2 coats of Satin Clear. A bit of a over kill but I think the final product looks nice and I'm hoping it will last.

Just my two cents.
Russ
