Paint or Wrap
Just starting to think about updating my 2002 Club Car DS. Body color is first on the list.
Paint or Wrap? I have seen both - and they both look great. Not sure on durability of either. Thanks in advance and also any guidance on things I am sure I am not thinking of! |
Re: Paint or Wrap
I think bolt would hold up just fine if the prep is done correctly. Both would be about the same price if done by a professional. Its a toss up for sure.
One day id like to change my white cart to silver and still not sure if im going to paint or wrap it. Wayne |

I still need more primer sanding to get imperfections out and ready for paint...I'm tired of sanding. Too cold and takes a lot of propane to get the garage to temp to be able to paint. |

I ended up sanding off the "not a step" and the rest of the body. I then used SEM Color Coat plastic paint. This stuff isn't cheap but I would rather pay a extra to have a nice finish. Flexible Primer (probably easier to use the Self Etching Primer), 3 coats of Satin Black and then 2 coats of Satin Clear. A bit of a over kill but I think the final product looks nice and I'm hoping it will last. Just my two cents. Russ |
