onboard protech charger
 
i recently bought a protech charger, it goes through it charge and conditioning cycle aok, but once in ready cycle, charger shuts off, i thinks it is supposed to stay in ready cycle, could i possibly have a defective charger, does anyone have the same charger that can answer whether or not is should be shutting off??

You're correct, the ready light should stay illuminated once fully charged. Does the blue "power" light go out also, if so the charger is bad.

If you have a 48v charger, When it goes to ready mode you should have 54.0v coming from the charger. Your owers manuel has a Troubleshooting chapter to tell you how to check it out
